Boy Scouts

Rincon UMC is very proud of the many years of excellent Scouting experiences that have been provided to hundreds of young men who have had the privilege of being a member of Troop 665 since 1977. The Troop has a tradition of excellence and achievements and the Rincon UMC is very proud to be the sponsor.

Troop 665 is now meeting in the Crystal Anderson Youth Center on the property in front of the Sanctuary.  Troop 665 schedules an outdoor activity every month.  Since 1977, Troop 665 has had at least 406 activities in the past 31 years!   As of October 1, 2008, we have had 67 Eagle Scouts come through Troop 665.

We are very fortunate to have volunteers that will help scouts learn many skills and earn their ranks and merit badges. Scouting with Troop 665 offers a wonderful opportunity for experiencing the great outdoors.

We welcome anyone who is looking for a Troop to visit us at one of our meetings. Volunteers are always welcome. We meet at 7:00 pm on Monday nights. We have an active Troop of about 26 to 35 boys and 9 adults.
